AHCAP Award of Distinction

The AHCAP Award of Distinction is designed to distinguish and honor members whose contributions and/or accomplishments advance the professionalism of healthcare administrative support.

AHCAP believes that it is important to recognize achievement, hard work and dedication.  We support and acknowledge individuals who contribute to their profession, as well as their healthcare institution and community.  AHCAP hopes to foster an environment that promotes and encourages the advancement of professionalism among healthcare administrative support staff.

Any AHCAP member in good standing is eligible to receive the Award of Distinction, which is presented each year at the annual AHCAP Educational Conference.  The nomination process typically begins in early April, with a deadline in late May.  Entries are reviewed and the winner determined by the Award of Distinction Selection Committee, which is made up of Board members and other association leaders.
